Saturday, April 19 -- Historic Rugby - Wildflower walk and slideshow, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with lunch break. $12. The Cumberland Plateau in and around Rugby abounds with spring wildflowers, including several rare species. Jack Carman, whose book Wildflowers of Tennessee is THE definitive guide, will lead several walks around Rugby. From Fringed Polygala to Dwarf Crested Iris, attendees will learn and see at least 25 species.
